Yesterday I lost my best friend and favorite coon dog! I've had her since she was 5 weeks old and she was going to be 9 years old on November 23...We had to put her down yesterday and it's been tough...She left way too soon and will be greatly missed! She had a bad cough with pneumonia 2 years ago and went threw lots of treatment and almost had to get her put down but she lived threw it and ended up winning hunts and treeing lots of coons for me since..So these couple years have been borrowed time for her and I'm very happy for that! I won my first competition hunt with her and had lots of fun with her...I've been trying to find a replacement for her but none will come close to having the heart and desire she had! She was a one of a kind coon dog that was the best tree dog I've ever hunted with! Rest in peace Nelly!I wish I could hear ya hit the tree with that one of a kind locate one more time! I'll miss ya!

It is hard to replace a winner, Father Time has showed me it can be done, some better many worse. You just have to keep trying and not give up. You always remember the special ones.
