What do you think.

sire: Balls stylish hickory nut Harry

Dam Extreme Jane

Harry has less than 5 strawls of semen left
=Balls stylish Texas trooper
extreme Jane is a pup directly out of insane Jane and x Jr cross

trooper is 13 months now and he is running and treein his own coon at 850 yards away.

He is blanket back with a red head and a beautiful black lipper band

so what do you think about his pedigree.

Thank you , Quinton Campbell

LIPPER X JANE.. female ...

If he turns out to be everything that you expect, I think I would consider trying to breed him to a female from the HOUSE'S LIPPER X INSANE JANE litter if possible. JMO...

Personally I think you would do better breeding a good tequila sunrise female to him! Sometimes to much of something is not necessarily good!!!!Of course there are still a lot of ifs that need to happen before breeding anything! He needs to be an exceptional hound, that has the mouth,nOse,desire and start and drive that would make him a top hound that is even worth breeding to! Jmo you have a good start in the pedigree and I hope he makes everything you are looking for in a hound but first and foremost be honest with yourself with his strengths and weaknesses cause they all have them, and then carefully select a female that will help his weaknesses and vice versa then you can cross them and give the pups away to people that will give them a shot to see wether he is a true reproducer! And remember a lot of males will get real stupid after they get breed so I wouldn't try anything until after he was a finished dog and you got everything out of him that you want! And also don't breed him if you don't intend on pushing one yourself out of him! Jmo there's a lot more to it than just putting dogs together and collecting $$$$$$

How can anyone make a decision on whether they would breed to him or not until he makes a coondog. He's bred good but so are thousands of other young dogs.

That and the other thing that kinda makes me scratch my head is the "13 months old now and he is running and treeing his own coon" and then the best part....."when he is dual grand" as if it is a given that he will finish to dual grand. Not to pick on Quinton because you see that comment often but how do these guys know these very young pups will grand? I sure wish I knew that at 13 months, sure would save me alot of time and dog food wasted on culls.

First comes the dream. If you never have it then you sure as heck will never have the hound.

I thought you might be a young one that we are allways trying to get interested in this sport. Not that you have to be to have the dream. I am 53 and still dream. Nice to see you have thick skin though. You have to have on this sight some times.
I wish you all the best with your dog. Just keep senting it on when it pulls up short. They wouldn't do it if they didn't think the coon was there and won't learn any differant if they don't find the same track leaveing the tree and going on.
Yes they can tell if it is the same coon or not. So what ever you have to do to get them running the track leaveing the tree will work sooner or latter.
Hope we meet in the woods some night. You sound like a heck of a 12 year old and one I could be proud to loose to. LOL
