Pitterpats

I have been hearing rumors that this is a reognized breed with the UKC? It evidently is a cross of American Pit Bull Terrier and Patterdale Terriers. I have heard this on an IWPA weightpulling board and I am just curious if it is true.
Could you also tell me how a new breed is admitted to the registry?
Thanks So Much,
Anna

Sara,
Thank you for the reply. I didn't think that it was recognized. I am loathe to think that this type of breeding will increase in the search for smaller and smaller weight pull dogs. I know that most breeds are orginally and amalgam of other breeds or types of dogs but, I think there has to be a certain goal and criteria before one goes forth trying to create a new breed.
