I am still here. hoorah. ok. taking skeet out when i can. last hunt wasnt so good. opened good on track, found skeet on a hole diggin like no tomorrow right beside an oak grove and an old pond. never saw the culprit, cant discount and cannot count.
centerville is peaceful, and full of amish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so that tells you alot about the hunting land. NO GO. they own it all. found some land about 15 miles from the house and working up to full scale coon hunter land soon with all the charity work i am doing with my semi. seems the amish around here have destroyed all hunting rights to any human being no matter what.
l.lyle and everyone, miss ya. got dial up internet and occasionally can get on the HIGH SPEED TRAIN. ( that's the name of my next dog).
anyways, skeet is coming along well still. some minor promblems, of course, but nothing major.
love to hunt him and murphy when i can. working long hours.

yes, the amish suck. they wont let me hunt on their land but yet will hunt on everyone else's land and wreak havoc.
skeet is really starting to mature(thank gosh). he opens on track ( nice bawl) but not so much where it gets annoying. his locate is hard to beat. WOW. no mistaking the skeet. when he trees now, huge loud bawl and then a chop.
no more tree jumpin, no more runnin around, just a coondog.
he is settling in really well.
like i said, just a few gliches(lol). i am lucky. hope to do well this kill season so we can earn a night ch. on him in the spring. i want him solid as a rock when we go.
and murphy is just a solid little walker mix. as always.

by the way,
single life isnt so bad after all. nobody to tell me what to do and when, not yelling, and i love the peace and quiet. holiday's will be hard, but not a huge problem.
havent got a date yet though,lol. oh well, there is time.

The amish are cool around here. About everyone of them will let you hunt and most of the kids go with you whenever you stop. I've been to lots of hunts in pa and been guided on lots of amish farms, so I'm assuming the amish arent much different over there! Gotta ask to get permission

Just hunt through the Holidays that's what I did, It helps. My ex always did say I liked my dogs better than her. Guess the truth hurts. lol

Don't worry about the Amish, they will never call the law on you because they don't have phones!
Seriously though, we hunt a week every other Nov. In WI. We have had very good sucess with the Amish letting us hunt, when we stop by and visit and ask.

clad to see you are doing alright i wounderd what happen to you first time seen you on here buddy came got me 3 nights so far this yr took me to some easy woods man i was happy as a kid in a candy store gettin around a bit better now might try to get me a flashlight dog lol well you take care hope you start to enjoy your new start in life

there are some guys down your way that do coonhunt. they are closer to spartensburg tho. over off route 77. they have english and blueticks. i hunt more in warren county. look around for some state game lands. there are a lot of them without a long drive.

if i get anything but a flashlight dog it better stayed treed for a couple hrs cause my old crippled but pretty slow gettin there my buddys a little older than me but he always has liked them flashlight dogs he runs his with 1 of those blue blinkin lights on her shes real tight on the ground you can tell when she hits a coon see that blue light going through the woods like a jet airplane lol yea some of those amish is sorta funny in thier ways you take care hope you the best you ever get in my area give me a holler dont know if your driving local or long distance now but i only live 10 mins from k/t truck stop in fairmont
