any suggestions on this problem???

I have a 2 year old almost 3 english dog. He is great at gettin by himself, treein, and havin the meat when you get there, but my problem is, the few times that he is treed with another dog he will tree alright but a lot of times he'll get off the tree maybe up to 10yrds and act like he is trailin and then come back to treein. He never does this by himself just when hes treed with another dog. He usually does not leave the tree when hes treed with another dog, he'll just be a little peice off trailin and then come right back. If anyone has any opinions please let me know.

Tie him back and let him watch the other dog chew on the coon. Should fire him up a bit.
