i know i hate how the coon season is in ohio...we get a couple good weeks here then the snow is all crispy and my dog refuses to run because it tears her feet up. she dont mind 2 ft of snow(i do but she dont) but as soon as its gets a little layer of ice on the top she wont run...i dont blame her she comes back with her feet all tore up...i tried the boots on her once and she wasnt a fan

Summer is off season for me due to the alligators. But try getting on a bycicle and let her pull you down a not busy farm to market road. That would have toughened her feet and I don't have to peddle a lick... I never tried that pad toughener stuff but that might help.
