light will not charge?

21 volt belt light went dim charge up on smart charger and the charger light will not even come on to say its charging what are the possibilities? charging port not getting a connection?

IT MAY NOT BE IN YOUR CASE BUT I HAD A CHARGER THAT HAD A SHORT IN THE CORD. TRY PLUGGING THE LIGHT IN AND FOOL WITH THE CHARGER CORD FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER.

also you can

Keep plugging and unplugging the charger while connected to the light. Keep doing this until your charger light stays on. Sometimes they get a flat spot. Hope this helps....

unzip yer battery pak and make sure all the wires are soldered good, may have one loose / also take the cover off the switch box and make sure the connections are all soldered tight................sounds like maybe a ground r something to me.

Battery

If it is completely flat smart charger won't pick it up .Put it on a regular charger for a while then back to your smart charger. A man that builds lights told me this and it worked on mine TOM

I have a blazer tiny 21 that does the same thing, mine is in the male plug that goes into the light, I have to pull it about half way out to get it to charge.
