HTX ? about the hour

Do you have to hunt the whole hour in one spot or can you call time out and move ? If my dog hunts 20 minutes and comes out can we call time out and move ?

YES YOU CAN CALL TIME OUT TO MOVE.

BUT, IF YOUR DOG COMES OUT HE GETS A FAULT FOR QUITTING THE TRACK.

You do not need to hunt a single, one hour time block. You can move after treeing a coon. Or if your dog had gone hunting and was gone for some time without opening and came back in you could catch him up without it being a fault and change locations.

If he had opened and worked a track and then came in you could still catch him and move but it would count as one fault. Or maybe he's out there boogering around on a bad track and not coming in and you're running out of time. You could catch him off that track and count it as a fault and move him.

You just simply need to keep track of your minutes of hunting time used. Good luck!

No, not a fault if he never struck.
