Tri-tronics bark limiter???

I keep a tri tronics bark limiter collar on my hound do to livin in a subdivision. He has had it on for months now and knows not to bark. The problem is every couple of weeks it seems like it shocks him for no reason. If he barks and it shocks him he will shut up. When it shocks him for no reason it takes about 10 seconds for it to quit. I lost the instructions so any input would be great. Does this seem like it happens to anyone else?

Thanks

if that dont fix it through it away an buy a real bark collar Dogtra Rechargeable. Dont get me wrong tritronics is great but for some reason they need to step it up a notch with bark collars. Ive also noticed with the tritronics one that if left on for a while will burn holes on the dogs neck an must be checked daily where is the dogtra has not on any dogs for me at all. I bought both of the dogtra collars the ys300 an the ys 500 the smaller one works just as good as the big one same adjustment as the tritronics for intensity but the 300 also has a test mode where u scratch the collar an it vibrates to let u kno that everything is working properly versus the tritronics u turn it on an wait for the dog to dark
