Does the backup handler at the Zone hunts (I don't think spectators are allowed at the Zones) have to go to the woods? Can they sit in the truck. My wife is going, and would like to go along, but doesn't want to walk along.

She will listed as back up handler and may stay at the truck. Just make sure you do not leave a tracking device with her or you could get scratched by an over zeolus(sp?) judge. lol

There are no spectators allowed, however one back up handler is allowed and i'm pretty sure they have to walk along.

"A backup handler is not required to go to the woods with the cast. They may stay at the truck. In the past it was UKC policy for all backup handlers to stay with the cast. That policy has been revisited and revised as noted above."

Trevor, the only change this year at the zones is the option of a Conditional Entry. Back up handler rules have not changed from last year.
