Puppy Sick! Help Please

She is 7w old and is has been coughing for almost a week. It was just once in awhile and suttle at first. Now its gradually gotten worse. I thought is was kennel cough at first but now idk. She has a stedy every 5min flemmy cough and tonight her nose got dry and is feeling warm. First off I AM TAKING HER TO THE VET TOMARRO MORNING. But untill then I gave her 1/2 ml of childrens cough medicine and push 15ml of water through syringe . Is there anything else I should give her or should I have given her more than 1/2ml? Any suggestions on what's going on and what I should do?

Ps.... she is not acting to bad and has not slept anymore than a usual puppy today. Still playful.

In my experience, dogs with kennel cough generally have a dry cough although their energy level and other behavior usually continues to be normal. I have always been a little afraid to give my dogs human cough syrup, so I've given a tablespoon or so of honey a few times a day. It usually calms their cough pretty well for several hours at a time.

Roundworms can also cause a cough, but thankfully are easy to treat. I'm sure your vet will have your pup on the mend in no time....
