I've been hunting right through it. Dogs look sorry one night, better the next, but I figure if they can tree coons right now they oughta really turn it on when we get some moisture, cooler temps, and less moon. Same reason I've been hunting them in the worst swampy jungles I can stand. I figure if I can tree coons in there right now, cattle pastures and hillsides in November should be a cakewalk...
That said, if a young dog I'm messing with has two or three real bad nights in a row and I feel like I can honestly blame it on the conditions, I'll put her up for a few nights.
