Be Aware and TAKE NAMES
Texas was recently dealt a bad blow when TX Gov. Perry signed the HSUS/THLN "Pet Elimination" bill. At first glance hound, herding and "special purpose" dog owners/breeders might think they are exempt.
BEWARE!
When the AR people can't "get" you using HB1451 they will use the "Animal Cruelty Act" - and THAT'S where animal owners are "taken down."
Did you know there are NATIONWIDE VETERINARIANS & DISTRICT ATTORNEYS that work under the direction and beliefs of HSUS/PeTA?
A very reputable Rabbit breeder ( many years of exhibition rabbits & of helping 4-H kids) in Colorado was "shut down" because of an ANONYMOUS phone call to a "cruelty" tip line that pays for info.
The Sheriff's Department along with 3 Veterinarians showed up without a warrant & began seizing animals before someone arrived with a warrant.
Longview, Texas has an "AR" District Attorney writing a newspaper column.
Who were the 3 Vets involved in the rabbit seizure?
