help needed

any lawn mower mechanics out there my 22 horse power techumsa wont run unless the choke is wide open and then dont have much power

Its most definetly starving for fuel..sounds like the jet in the carb is clogged or the air fuel mixing screw is out of wack..if it has sat for any length of time the jet is prob full of ethonol

if its clogged but will run get some sea foam and run thru it and it should unclogg it

You can get it at the auto parts store its in a red and white can. its to clean fuel systems.

Some of the best stuff ever made if you ask me. Mix it at least 2 ounces per gallon and just let it run for a while. If that doesn't fix it you have a mechanical problem and not a problem such as gunked up carbs or jets.

It should smoke some if it is doing its job.
