were is the the best place to have a dog collected

looking to have a few straws of taken off my male for future use where is the best place

Their are Quit a Few Vets in NY state that will collect and Store for you ...

Just do a search for Canine+Semen+Collection+Vets in NY

That in itself should save some $$ in gas even if you were to pay abit more ..

What are you calling cheap, and how much do they charge to impregnate? I am planning on getting one of my males done, and talked to them at VA TECH they said:
$350 to collect the 1st time,
$150 the 2nd time if it was the same day as the 1st
(which would be 2 or 3 straws of frozen pellets per collection)

$120 to store it for a year

$800-$1000 to impregnate
(impregnate a dog took 2 or 3 straws)

I talked to Dr. Purswell in the Reprocuction Dept.

I thought my gosh, seems a little steep for the impregnation, but what do I know, maybe I should shop around a little.

Seems to me that a you could get a few more straws per collection, which could be a bit cheaper and a impregnation could be a heck of a lot less, again maybe I need to shop around some place other than where I did.

Hope it is cheaper where you guys are.

I live 20 minutes from VA Tech and I will not use them......to steep. I can drive to Nevergone, get my male collected and still save money. To get a dog collected at Nevergone, you are looking at $200 the first time, that includes the $25 a year to store. $175 a collection after that. Based on your male, you should get 5 or more straws a collection. I got 6 straws each time. I'm not sure what it is to AI a female but I guarantee you it won't be near what Tech will charge.

Dean is by far the most reasonable and I've never talked to a dissatisfied customer. JMO

Well dean is like175$ to collect the first or tenth time and25$ a year to store and he charged me I think 125$ to artificial my female and5$ a day to board is that cheap enough? For the best in the buisnessman.I mite have them reversed the prices but bottom line everyone else should be charged with rape for the prices they try to get.mr. Dean charges a reasonable to cheap price for his services and he also did a progesterone test on my female why I waited.and did I mention that he drew another male that he showed me didn't have a high sperm count and didn't charge zero for it,! You won't get a better people person that is personable and will show you just what you got! Trust me I looked hard and number two ain't even close!!!
