Coon love sweet feed. We mix it with corn or dog food.

We use bread in ours. We go to a local bread store and they sell the old bread for (I think it is) $4.00/ x-large trash can (about a 30gallon or so) and we sometimes get the donuts or sweets. We just break up the bread and put it in the buckets. It takes about 8 boxes of donuts or 5-6 loaves of bread. They will wipe it out in about 2-3 nights. It is cheap and easy. One evening there was 5 kittens up the feeder tree, when we was gonna fill it.

I tried the bread. Could buy a truck bed rounded over for 20 dollars. I think we used to big of feeders 55 gal drums. The stuff would start to ferment in a week or. Make the nastiest mess you ever saw.

i use whole corn ad mix a dab and i mean a small amount of molasses in with it. it makes it a little sticky so the really have to work to get it out. but they will stand on thier heads to get it out of the pipe.
