each breed winner goes to group and they typically place 1-4 in group placements..

Group 1 winners go to the Best in Show round

He is truely a dual purpose hound. Congrads guys. I think of him everytime my phone rings. My ring tone is Talker and my Ivy gyp treed. Its pretty cool. Good luck in the future...........Ed

Sandi your girl is beautiful.....wonderful color and you've done a nice job with her.

It seemed to be girls day on Friday...Bluetick, English, and Plott breed winners were all females. I think we had 13 dogs in the Scenthound Group ring Friday. So, I was thrilled to win group 3 with Cindy. Just to make the cut is an honor, but to place was awesome!

Then, the next day was boys day. Males all won Bluetick, Eng, and Plott. Cindy gets beat in the breed ring and my male Diamond went to the Scenthound Group ring along with Talker for the Blueticks with Kathy Shorter helping out. 11 dogs in the group ring Saturday..I think. Talker looked really nice and another Group 3! Thanks Kathy! Couldn't have asked for better help!

It would have been nice to see more coonhounds there...perhaps next year.

Yes, this is the same bluetick Talker male that is being hunted and shown in some of the Purina events.
