light questions and care

What is the typical amount of time in years most of you get out of a light??

Also, if you have any tips on keeping a light in top shape or what you can do to prolong its life I would love to hear about it.

Is is okay to charge a light on a smart charger each time you use it??

Does it decrease the life of the light the more times it is fully charged??

Thanks for any input.

Well, with the old lights you needed to let them run all the way down occasionally so that they wouldn't develop a "quick discharge" memory.

They claim you don't need to do that with the new batteries cause they don't have memory.

I just got a 28 volt belt light from The Light Connection and I really, really like it.

light care

keep them charged and give them a good look over about every two weeks. Tighten loose jam nuts on switches and check the cord end were it plugs into the light. The cord by the right angle jack gets the most abuse with the constant twisting and the wires get broke like that. I got a light connection 20 volt last year and couldn't be happier. only blew one bulb and that was my fault. It was ready to go night after night all night without any problems.
