Last night me, my stepson Cody Vaughn, and my bud Scott Bradshaw turned loose. The dogs split and me and Scott walked to my red female while he walked his pup in. My stepson waited at the truck. Well we had to cross a hogwire fence. Well Scott's left foot got hung up and he fell forward landing on his right foot snapping his leg. Found out later at the hospital he broke both his femur and tibula bones. We were in new territory and about 600 yrds to the truck. I made it back and we drove the truck to him. Scott is having surgery in the morning at Athens Regional. It was 3 hours later before I could get back to the dogs and they were still there and had the coon. Have Scott in your prayers. He will be out of work for the next couple of months.

That stinks. Praying for Scott. I fell off a log while crossing a creek last week and thought I had broke an ankle. I was by myself (my wife always chews my butt for going alone which I do 80% of the time) and had to hobble about 3/4 mile back to the truck. Luckily I had just pulled both dogs off a tree and had them on leads so didn't have to try to chase them down.

thanks everybody. he had his surgery this morning. the surgery took over 3 hours. he should be able to come home tomorrow. Hey Tim, if you have his number give him a call. he would like to talk to ya.
