Yalls keep going up like mine? Black gold goes up every 2 weeks. Going up 1.50 more I heard this morning. I've stuck with em but believe its time to move on. Seems like to me somebody dont have any business running common sense. Gonna price themselves right out of business. I know they are a cheaper feed but I think its the best cheap feed made BUT they cant ask the same price as the super feeds. Thats stupid to think they can!!!

i think you are going to find out with all of the flooding, tornadoes and such that all the feed will be going up. i think there will be a definate corn shortage that will push the price way up.

Probably will but years ago it kept going up and they said then it was high fuel prices. Well the fuel came off. The dog food never did. Matter of fact it went on up. Now they will blame corn and fuel. All boils down to folks wanting more money.Can never have enough. I hear a new food is fixin to him the market. I think I'll swap to it. I dont even know its name yet but its gonna be made by the same folks that have BEEN making BG. All rumors of course BUT the guy mine comes from has been selling a tractor trailer load of BG either once a week or month one. Hes done with it to. Said he is swapping to this new food.. I've fed it since it came out and have never had a reason to change. All that done now. BG is not the quality feed its pricing its self as!

the only way i know to get meat is to feed corn, wheat, and soybeans to cattle, chickens, and hogs. which is not the best way to convert plant protien into dog food.

The price of dog food around here has been pretty stable for over 2 years now. Joy, Dog Chow, Sportmix, Pride have all been around 18 to 21 a bag.

I have fed Diamond Naturals, Purina One and Pro Plan in the last several years and the price on those has stayed constant as well.

I hate to think about it, but with all of the flooding, tornados....dog food will definitely be climbing the ladder. When they blew the dam over here in southern Missouri, they flooded 131,000 of prime farm ground. that was over 4 weeks ago and water still standing everywhere, not much crops around here this summer. Farmers around here will be hurting, huge shortage of corn for this summer and fall. Not good news.

been feeding Hi-Standard for longer than i can remember, love the food. I have not had a price increase from them since february, but i am sure one is coming. Heard Diamond went up $2 per bag. Economy is in the toilet!!

i will NOT feed diamond feed. Black Gold, Pride, FRM Select etc, are good feeds without the worry of a break down in quality.

I feed sportsmans pride 26/18 its $26.95 per 50lbs. Its the best I have found. Feed 1/2 as much and they gain weight.

Danny, try Nutrena HI NRG .22.31 for 50lbs and i can feed seven dogs for 8 days on it . Very good food .
