3 milimeters

Can anyone guess what is only 3 milimeters and can bring a grown man to his knees? I had my first one and passed it and experienced the most severe pain I have ever felt in my life.

Good old fashioned kidney stone. Glad for you that it's gone.

I hope it's over with. It's miserable to have those things.

Mine was only 2 mm and I was on the floor , on my hands and knees , waking up the wife to take me to the hospital.

I read somewhere that it's as close to feeling like a woman having a baby as a man can get.
If that's true , I can't figure out why a woman would be dumb enough to have more than one !!!!!

Ouch!! I know these first hand myself. Have dropped them on 8 different occasions. All of them struck at night but 1 and I was about 9 miles from the boat ramp fishing when it decided to start moving. Lil brother freaked out but since that one was my 6th time in about a 5 month span I considered myself a pro at it. Told him to take the front of the boat and I took the fetal position in bottom of boat. Drank probably 5-6 bottles of water and everytime I had to go I used an empty bottle and after an hour or so ping, ping, ping. Put 3 of them dudes in the bottle and fished till almost dark. Interesting day to say the least. Last one I had was a mere 13mm and needless to say that one no pro on earth could take and pass on their own. It was Lithotripsy city and one embarassing trip to the hospital I can only hope to forget. Since I been put on klor-con and hydrochlorot I havent had any in about 2-3 yrs.

The first ones i had i was hooking up a trailer to the truck and thought i had broke my back had the wife to come and get me because i wasnt able to move, tried to take a shower thinking it would ease the pain and passed out in the floor. There where 3 of those bad boys lodged in the tube from my kidneys 6 mm, 5mm,2mm. Need less to say i dont drink cokes, tea,or use salt or pepper and use a marshmellow extract every few weeks just to try to keep them at bay..

Dr. told me that real homemade lemonaid was one of the best things to do. I guess the acid kind of eats them away. Lots of cold water and oh yeh, my doc sent me home with a little packet of pills incase it ever happens again to help with the pain.

I was also told by my Sgt. that lemon ade was a good way to keep them away. I never knew I could ball up that small since I grew up. It is a sight to see a grown man in the fetal position in a small ball. The hot hot water in the shower on my kidney helped till I got out and cooled down. Then it started back. I worked a twelve hour shift in and out of the patrol car and trying to pee every ten minutes. Couldn't work the next night and went to the hospital, got some medicine, drank about fifty gallons of water (not really fifty but felt like it). Flomax works, I thought I was going to blow the white off the toilet.
