go to menu
go to stop navigation
then you should be able to start new hunt

stay on your map page and go to menu
you should see stop navigation

I see the stop navigation but for some reason it's a different color than the other choices and I can't click on it

Zoom out

Keep pushing the zoom out button until you see what you want.

On that screen Navigation is not turned on so you can't stop it. If it was on you would have one solid pink/blue line from one point to another and it would be active and allow you to select it.

Jdgher is correct that the level of zoom changes how you see information on the screen. What update rate do you have selected. The quicker the update rate the closer the dots should be. I know on my old 220 when I used it the Track it left was like the one track you have that is kind of out by itself. We even referred to it as leaving a bread crumb trail.
Zoom out some an the dogs should show up as a solid line.
