I am not the most computer saavy person on the board, so could someone please explain to me in great detail how to load a pic in my post? Does it matter if its JPEG or BMP? Just wondering. Thanks

Hey David;

I will try and explain it to you. It is fairly simple. First you need to have a pic on a web site. I do not believe you can post it directly from your hard drive to this board. So the first thing you want to do is find a web site that will host your picturs. Try your search engine, you will find plenty that will host your pictures free. I use imagestation.com. After you get the picture to that or to some other web site you need to get the address for the particular picture you want to post on here. You enter that address as follows:

[ img ]put the address of your picture in here[ /img ]

NOTE - Do not put spacing between. I DID PUT SPACES above so you would be able to see it, but your picture will not come out if you do.


img stands for image. You need to put this in brackets, as above.

the / before img at the end, where I have /img means end. This also needs to be in brackets, as I have done above. The address to your picture needs to go in between these braketed [ img ] and [ /img ].

For the below picture I put in the following:

http://www.imagestation.com/picture...2b/fbd8088c.jpg

NOTE: I put this address in between as mentioned above.

NOTE: There are no spaces between any of this, if you have space, at all, anywhere in this, it will not work. I hope this helps.

You are not using the correct address. Go to imagestation where you uploaded the pics. Find the pic you want, left click on it then click show properties, you will see the correct address.
