Something I have noticed....

I read different posts on here and have came to a conclusion. Seldom can anyone agree on rules, heck there is a thread 5 pages long about rides. So I got to thinking with all the bickering that goes on this computer, how in the heck are guys gonna agree in the woods in the middle of the night with that coveted win slip on the line? Or does it just go on the computer and in the woods everything works out perfectly. LOL

I'm still kinda new at this but I have done it a little bit. What I have noticed is 95% of the time folks get along fine . I think sometimes when people have 9 good experiences and 1 bad experience, they talk about that 1 bad experience for days and days but seldom bring up the good stuff. Just my opinion.

Travis I have thought the same thing. I was hoping that since this is the UKC site that some kind of MOH whould be answering questions that pertained to the rules. Maybe UKC should set up a seperate forum just for that with an official moderater to answer the rules questions. I understand that the answer the moderater would give couldn't be official because he wasn't there and usually only has one side of the question, but some rules need a simple yes or no answer.

SO TRUE. I had to grow up a lot also. I also listened to some people in the beginning that had NO IDEA what they were talking about and had to have been just plain sore losers. My firsthand experience tells me most casts are peaceful and run just fine.

It's simple. In the woods we have a scorecard with the rules written on the back. That 5 page thread about rides will never be a rule discussion at a hunt because there is no such rule, hence, nothing to discuss.
This message board isn't even remotely compareable to what goes on in the woods. Thank God.
