Weigh in 5:30 to 6:30pm $20 per hunter (dinner incl)
Cash bar, sportsman raffle, 50/50 split

100% cash payout! Trophy and cash 1st through 3rd

Shoot em, trap em, run em over with your car! Just get em weighed in by 6:30pm at the bar!

Wild cottontail only..DO NOT gut or freeze them.. No limit on rabbits weighed in.

Last year winner, worth $300, was 3.86lbs!

NEWS FLASH!!!
The frozen tundra of New York, will be filled with the sounds of Whitney Hill beagles on Jan 29th!!! Even if they are on deer, we will still let him attend the Derby!! Now that I know the Legend, and his band of merry men (Joel lol) are in on this awesome hunt, three things will happen for sure......
1)... A ton of laughs and great new memories!
2). All my beer and wine will be gone!
3)... Most likely my house cat will have kittens 60 days after they leave!!!

I will have no problem raising Glenn's kittens as it will be well worth the good time we will have!!!!

Hope to see some more UKC faces.. Hope you all can make it, its really a great time!

Espically if they look like this. Legends dog have been know to run them. Just make sure it's white.

Saturday January 29th 2011, Niagara Frontier area, high of 26 low of 18, with calm winds and cloudy skies. Thursday and Friday seem to be uneventful as well.

The beagling God's are handing us a perfect few days of rabbit hunting conditions for this event.
Our included diner, of Homemade Italian sausage, peppers and onions on fresh made rolls, Chili, German potato salad, green salad with homemade dressing, and deserts will be a "ooooohhhhh it's soooo Good" meal!

Our sportsman basket, is valued at several hundred dollars and has every thing from, wildgame cooking items, hunting knives, ammo, ball caps, rabbit and venison jerky, whiskey and wines, and free stud dog breedings, just to name a few items. Tickets will be only available during the event, so everyone will have good odds to win!

Winning hunters will have their prize given to them by our City Mayor, and have their names and pictures in the Buffalo News sports section! This is one of the best rabbit hunting events in the country, if not "THE BEST!" Results and picture will be posted on www.newempirebeagleclub.webs.com as well as here on the UKC board. Thank you all again for your support and well wishes.

Note: future proceeds from this event, will go into the NEW EMPIRE SCHOLARSHIP FUND for any deserving members children. Look for our silent stud dog auction in the near future to help out our young with the greatest gift ever......An Education!

That's just as good as the NHBA prize package. I wish I was able to attend this hunt. This is going to be awesome. Man if you live within 5 -6 hours of this club you need to attend it. There should be know reason for there not to be 100 beaglers there.
Used to be the only way you got on the cover of the Buffalo News was if Jim Kelly threw a drink in your face or you went over the Falls in a barrel. Let's support this scholarship fund.

Steve the way the Bills have been playing for the last 10 years there hasn't been a reason not to go rabbit hunting for a very long time . LMAO

After this mornings 7 below zero, Sunday should feel like the Bahamas !!! It's about time we got some decent weather around here.

Counting down the days. Rick you better start singing in the shower to get the jaw muscles loosened up for all the trash talking you're gonna be doing.

Every year this event has been getting better and better. I'm sure it will be a great time !!!

You guys have woken the Legend from his long winter nap. It is no rumor that the Legend and the PA Posse will be in Buffalo on Friday evening. Also I would like to tell you now if my band of sharp shooters win the three hundred dollar first prize, that money will be donated to a nursing home of Thornie's choice his time is drawing closer.

Last week it was nice to hear that M&M was on TV hunting in Indiana, must have been pretty exciting! But I do have two questions:
Travis did you get a new dog? And I didn't think they allowed hunting in prison?

Carl, looking forward to you being my rabbit guide next weekend that should be a blast!

Smokes Creek I have but one question for you...is your girlfriend gonna be at the party? LMAO! And Rick, from what I hear we'll be spending some time in Michigan this year. Also looking forward to drinking all your wine I want the room closest to the wine cellar! Was really sorry to hear your mother would not be there this weekend, was looking forward to a long chat with her about you...maybe in the spring. And in closing, looking forward to tipping a few with steve morgan!

If anyone needs some prime hunting spots I know of many places within an hour of there. There is about 10" of snow but the pines will be loaded and ready to go.

Rick please take it easy on everyone this week. If I remember correctly your hounds were 1-4 two weeks ago? You don't want any of that eastern Ny or PA strain of dogs left there in WNY.

It's supposed to be about 28 with light snow showers. Toasty compared to what we've been getting. We've had a couple of warm days to firm up the snow. Should be a great conditions !!!!
