Strange or Interesting finds while hunting

I've found a lot of cool stuff while snorkeling. I found a wallet with 90 bucks in it in pine creek in PA. Also found two wedding rings while snorkeling in Tallulah Gorge in GA. We used to find all kinds of stuff that canoers would lose. Full kegs of beer, a gnome bank, fishing and camping gear, etc.

I don't think I've ever found anything real strange while hunting except for abandoned stands, a knife, stuff like that. How about you guys?

few skunks, few armadillos. people gettin busy thats happened twice ha ha. an topped a hill one night during a competition hunt to a burning log cabin. i unhooked the gas tank from the house an tried using the hoses but they were all froze so i kicked in back door an crawled thur there hollering to see if anyone was in there. dude hunting with me said i was crazy because i didnt know them, but i intended on saving someone or maybe an animal if at all possible, people do it all the time without knowing who there helping, turns out they were gone out to eat all in one vehicle, cause the 3 vehicles in the yard is what made me think people were there. crazy night, still made deadline, an still got my trophy from that night. moral being help somebody if you can, it'll all come back to ya.

I was lookin at some on that link that was crazy for sure. We had a place one time like one of those. Well I still hunt it. You could get in a certain spot in there and the compass would go crazy. Just about every time we went in there we would end up lost. That was when I was young and first started huntin. Havent had that problem in the last few year in there.

I found an old urn several years back. This urn was in the bottom of a hollow, in a small creek bed in the middle of BIG Timber. Only about half of the urn was sticking up above ground.

Heard that!! LOL

I just thought of another time. It may not be that weird but it sure spooked us. We were walkin down a little foot path goin into the swamp cuttin some fallen limbs out of the way from a recent ice storm. We hear somthin comin through the woods. I looked at my buddy and he said it must be that pup of mine. About that time the biggest buck I ever seen was comin right at us. He had the machete up fixin to cut a limb and if he would have dropped it he would have hit him cause we had to step back so he wouldnt run us over. We were dumbfounded. All of a sudden I realized, I had the rifle lol. But it was to late by then. Big as he was I might have chanced a ticket lol.

I remember years ago taking the dogs up a creek by boat one night and at its narrowest point there was a tree over hanging it, hanging by fishing line from that tree was a pot pipe that was packed full. We snatched the pipe but backed out and hunted else where, LOL Never did go back in there that year, LOL

I have found mushrooms while coon hunting. Actually, they are easier to find at night than in the daytime. The white mushrooms stick out like sore thumb in the walking lights.

Was coonhunting an Air Force Range in Florida years ago, came upon an unexploded bomb sticking nose first in the ground.....backed out very quietly. Probably a training dud, but didn't look close enough to be sure.
