It's a geat show. I can't believe it's on the Travel Channel. I love the tag line "everything out here is in the organic section". It has more "reality" than any other reality show on TV. It could be too much reality for the politically-correct, self-absorbed, concrete jungle-living yuppies that watch the Travel Channel. I commend the Travel Channel for airing this show. The host, Steve Rinella does a great job of putting hunting into perspective to viewers who buy their meat from the grocery store. He said in one episode, "I feel sorry for people who haven't eaten something that died earlier that day". He points out that we live in an artificial world unlike the world in which the human race owes it's very existance.
If it doesn't get cancelled because of animal rights morons hopefully it will spark an interest in hunting and get the numbers of hunters back up. If we keep losing hunters to video games our sport with eventually be outlawed.
On a side note, I was watching Dirtiest Jobs when Mike Rowe was reading "fan mail" that he said was from a viewer "Wayne P." I knew right away it was Wayne Pacelle, President of the HSUS and Mike basically made him look stupid and also added "I don't hunt but I'm not opposed to it". AWESOME JOB MIKE ROWE!
Maybe public sentiment is turning? I hope so.
