dayglo collar for garmin dc 30

Are these things as big of a pain to replace with as they look? Are they worth the hassle?

.

They can be replaced in about 15 minutes. Be glad to change it for you or if your going to winter classic there will be someone there changing them out

i traded for a collar that already had the replacement and took it apart to clean it and put it back together with ease. Alot nicer than the "factory" collar.

main thing is the screws holding the plate on. seen some with heads rounded out or corroaded and welded thierself in.
make sure you use the right sized screw driver on them 2 screws.
and dont force the wire plug back in to the unit, when its right it will slide down back into position smoothly.
the rest is very simple, i found them well worth it.
i replaced one half with dayglo and left the buckle side clothe for a long time.
just wanted it easy in the winter or mud to buckle and unbuckle.
when the clothe side wore out i replaced them with the full dayglo collars.
red ,blue, amd green. the same as the colors of the first 3 dogs on my handheld. labled the collars for the dog on the handheld red, blue, green too.
just so i know at a glace which is which by knowing which dog is wearing which color..
