Good luck finding food cheaper than $17 a bag, thats a good deal if it is good food. I live 2 hours south of you and I have been paying around 19 to 21 a bag for the last 4 years. My buddy and I have been shopping around too and cant find any better deals. Good luck and let me know if you find any.

I got a 45 lb bag at the local tractor supply a while back for $11 I think it was called doggy bag. I'm serious bout the name big white bag with blue and yeller labels. My dogs ate it but I wasn't very happy with it. Maybe if you was to mix it with a higher caliber feed it would be ok and help your pockets a little

Don't feed that cheap junk to your dogs. You are waisting your money and hurting your dogs.

Go to Tractor Supply and get Diamond High Energy. It is about $23.00 for a 50 lb. bag. Feed your dogs something that will give them some food value and energy. It is cheaper in the long run.

Takes less food, and keeps my dogs in good shape. Dogs need that high fat content during the winter.

speaking of junk, Diamond dog food has killed more dogs than any, and has more recalls all the time over their feed. i tried it once and my dogs continued to have diaria and loose weight. when i started checking on it my vet told me about the recall. i started reading about it and how many dogs were dead and stopped using it.

I bought a bag of that to put in some coon feeders and the coon wouldn't even eat it. Just mice.

Anyone that feeds that to a dog doesn't deserve to own a dog. My buddy was feeding it and I told him to flip the bag over and read the ingredients. Is there even meat product in there? Inspect it and you'll find sawdust and maybe some feathers in there. I ran into town and bought him a new bag the same day. I can't believe anyone would feed that to a dog.

i like the sportmix 24-20, my dogs have done great on it and its realy cheap. i give $20.50 for 50lbs from livestock nutrition center. there are several other dog food companies that make good feed at a reasonable price as well. heck i would feed and have feed ol roy performace 27-15 before i would diamond feed. jmo and it don't count for much. lol

The deal with Diamond dog food was the corn they used was rotten. If anyone remembers... not long after the ordeal is when Diamond started producing the naturals line of feed. Science diet also had a recall of tainted feed... same deal, bad corn. I feed Sportmix 24-20, allthough it has corn, It is not a bad feed.

You might be amazed to know that you can feed a dog a raw diet close to .53 cents a pound. The Sportmix is roughly .42 cents a pound.

feed

All you think about is how cheap can I get the feed.
Not what the feed can do for my dog.
Stanim ,coat stool etc.
I'll pay more for food that the result is digestion and firm stool.
This means that your dog is getting proper feed.
Go to www.loyall.com to see and read about a great dog feed.
