My pointer will come in and cover my coondogs on a tree, when/if she has the chance.

When I was a kid my hunting buddy had a little blue heeler gyp. She went with us everynight we went, she stayed with us and the hounds would strike and she would go check em. and if it was to cold for her she would come back and in a bit she would go check em again and when she could smell it she could run the hair off it and catch a few usually the first to tree. And a tree dog. Back then we used to let em fight the coons and she was the best kill dog we had. old Trixie Good times lol

Here's a picture of our Shar Pei Treeing with my Bluetick male. I'll tell you one thing if he gets his mouth on a coon the coon has had a BAD DAY.
