Accidental breeding, or neglect.

I have had so many people tell me that a female can be bred through a kennel, and I just want to know if yall have ever heard this or maybe some have seen it. I have always disagreed and dont think it's possible, but maybe someone on here can inform me better. Lets hear some thoughts

Heck that Stuff can Go AIR BORN if need be !!!

But Honestly I would have to See it with my own Eyes to Believe it ..

The Angle of the dangle and the degree of the Fence ?? Nope No Way

I've spent Hours trying "Helping/Holding" to get some Well Known "Studs" to get Hung-up ..

But I also have a Male that can get hung in Seconds

I have had a couple of breeders come in that have caught their dogs tied through the kennel. I had never thought it possible, but I guess anything is possible

Chris I think I spoke with you last year about hunting some, but we never got together. I am done with school (for now) and back home making up for the hunting time lost while in school.

I have had it happen right here. I walked outside to and to say I was surprised would be an understatement. I have a picture around here somewhere. I'll try to dig it out if u want to see it. I kennel all my dogs separately. (4) 5'x10'x6' runs & (1) 10'x10'x6' run, all of chain link kennels, cement floor & roof to keep accidents from happening. A 9mth old male pup with a healthy sex drive running loose sure did blow holes in that theory of mine.

Years ago I had a male tied outside of the pen and a female in heat in the pen. He bred her through the fence. I always though it was because it was at the corner.

Never seen it happen, but hear of it a lot...

Here's a twist though that could make it possible, I guess, if the male could at least hit it.....

I have a litter of ten pups that are now 2 weeks old...This was a planned breeding that Sam and I assisted...
Here's the thing...They never tied! We couldn't get him to stay long enough to knot..He mounted, entered and slid off. We tried three different days, the same results all three days.

So, I would say if he could just get lucky enough to hit it, and the female was still enough just for a couple seconds, it could happen. Although it does sound impossible...
I would have to see it to believe it.

Before anyone says something else got to her.....
Not possible without us knowing....
We have a pen that the girls in heat go in. The pens are not connected to any other pens, they are off the ground and can not be entered except through the gate. There is no possible way any other male got anywhere close enough to breed.
No way, no how, not in this case.

I've known of this happening to several guys. It almost happened in my backyard before. Thank God I noticed what was going on cause them sure would have been some ugly walker/australian shephards.

Had that happen once and didn't get pups. Anybody know for sure what the reason for not locking is when both are willing and doing what they should. Male has bred several females so is something not right in the female ? I know of 1 female that had to be bred AI at a vets with both dogs present because the male was too big for her or vice versa. Or maybe the female is too big for a lock?

All it takes is a female backed up to the fence and a male standing belly up to the fence. A belly up tree dog should be real good at it. LOL I have seen them eat threw chain link too. That is why I won't use anything less than # 9 chainlink or heavier.

We have a female that's currently bred that has previously had one litter of pups (14 in that litter). It was out of GRNITECH PR Rocky Creek Spiderman. Well, about a year after she had those pups, we bred her to a different male only this time she was AI'd. She did not take, even though she was thought to be a fertile female and he had good, healthy swimmers. Next time she came into heat, we tried AGAIN through AI and failed. The male is 10 years old and it's physically hard for him to naturally breed a female. Well this past time that we tried it (third time) he did breed her naturally and they got knotted up. She is getting bigger by the day and is due on the 1st of February, hopefully she's got at least 4-5 in there for all this trouble we've went to!! lol
