The mountains in western NC are snow packed and covered with ice, coons aren't moving good at all. And last night Asheville was colder than anywhere in the country, so we are headed to the eastern part of the state for the weekend to hunt on our deer lease. be in Northampton county in some swamp coons for a few days. Suppose to be almost 50 Saturday, man that will feel like summer!
Anyone else iced in and taking a trip to better hunting?This is what we r leaving behind....

i wish i was..

that looks like just a normal day between dec and march up here..i guess were used to it and just accept the fact that huntin sucks this time of year..oh well spring will come again then we'll be cryin its too hot and the bugs are out..

ABC news said two days ago ther wasw snow on the ground in 49 of the 50 states every state but Florida.Said it was the first time since record keeping(1890's)that this has happened.

Just cause we aint got snow dont mean it aint cold!!!!! Been in the low twenties all week. Dont know if the coon are moving or not cause nobody wants to hunt. Suppose to warm up tomorrow though.
