Best Light

I am looking at purchasing a new light as my Bandit is starting to fade a little after 10 years of use. I am having a hard time trying to get a handle on all the new LED lights and would appreciate perspectives from those who have used different LEDs. I am not interested in the Nitelight 28 V after what I have been hearing so no need to deal with it. Thanks for all your help.

Steve

I have used Bright Eyes lights for about ten years and I have not had any problem out of them. I have owned the belt and the box lights and like both of them. They are bright and they last. They also have LED heads.

I'm in the same boat, looking at lights, don't have a clue about all these new led lights. I just want something that is bright, but can dial down when I need it to. There are so many options out there I don't know where to look first.

The LED lights are good, and I do like the color of light they project. The thing you have to look at is the battery. How long will it last? How bright is it? How dim can you turn it down? Like I said earlier, I can vouch for Bright Eyes and I would recommend this product to anyone.

I would go with a K-light with g2 led head, Valley creek light with 5 led head or a bright eyes light with white lightning led head.

If you will look back you will see BLAZER has and will be the leader in LED heads and. They brought the first LED head and the first to change and improve on it. Not to mention they have always helped out us the coonhunter. So give them a call before you try the 2nd LED heads.

Moonshiner Lights

Donnal makes the best light on the market. He makes every light himself, no assembly line. He only uses quality parts and has excellent customer service.

I'M IN THE SAME BOAT I'M GONNA HAVE TO GET A NEW LIGHT. I'VE HAD A BLAZER FOR 8 YEARS AND HAVEN'T PUT BUT ONE BULB IN IT. THE HIGH SIDE WENT OUT ON THE OLD BULB. I WAS WONDERING IF I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE LED LIGHTS CREATING SHADOWS IN THE TREE. I USED A BUDDY OF MINES AND IT WAS AS IF I COULDN'T SHINE AROUND SOME LIMBS CAUSE OF THE LIGHT BEING SO WHITE MY EYES COULDN'T SEE PAST WHERE THE LIGHT WAS I FOUND MYSELF SQUINTING TO SHINE A TREE. I BELEIVE I'LL BE GETTN MY BLAZER 21 BELT LIGHT REWORKED I FEEL LIKE ITS A PART OF ME AND REALLY DON'T WANT A NEW LIGHT I'LL JUST CHECK ON GETTING IT REWORKD.

I've heard the same thing about the white light making it hard to see. I've never seen one of the led lights so I don't know. Thats why I don't know what to do.

IN MY OPION THE LED HEADS WILL CAST A SHADOW IN THE TREES BUT THEY WILL SAVE THE JUICE IN A BATTERY I HAVE A K-LIGHT THAT KEPT BLOWING BULBS IN MY REGULAR HEAD SO I BOUGHT A LED HEAD BLAZER SELLS DIDNT LIKE IT BECAUSE IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO ZOOM INTO A SPOT WITH THAT TYPE HEAD SO I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE FROM BRIGHT EYES ITS GOTTA GOOD SPOT BUT ITS KINDA TRICKY TRYING TO TURN THE HEAD UP AND DOWN SO KNOW I GOT ANOTHER ONE THAT LOOKS LIKE THE BRIGHT EYES ONE EXCEPT ITS GOT RINGS ON IT AND IT WILL GET BRIGHTER WHEN U TURN YOUR REOSTATE UP ( DONT KNOW WHAT KIND IT IS BUT ITS THE BEST 1 I HAVE EVER OWENED) BUT I STILL LIKE A REGULAR HEAD BETTER THAN ANY LED HEAD

light

I have to say I have both and it all depends on what you want... I have a Bright Eyes White Lighting Head which i have to say i havent hunted with a light any brighter then it is... But if you are used to a regular 21 volt light the little led caps lights are just as bright because i have a Laser Torch and it will shine through the regular 21 volt light on high side.... Hope this helps...
