Things you have losted in the woods while Hunting!

I was just siting here trying to enter numbers into my new phone. Thanks to coonhunting this is the second one that I have had to buy!! Started thinking bout things lost hunting. Cell phones, rifle clips (2), spot light(1), rifle (1)left sitting next to tree and leashes at least 3. I can get costly.
Just wondering what other people have lost in the woods.

I lost a rifle and several jack knives. I started putting reflective tape on them. It is so easy to set your gun down after shooting a coon out and then skinning it to lose track of your rifle. The one rifle I did lose I left leaning against my front bumper. Came back the next morning and somebody had already snatched it. It seems to get worse as I get older. Great question.

I lost one of my hunting buddies one time. Took him to a place I had hunted that he wasn't real familiar with. The dogs split up and he went to one tree and I went to the other. Then I couldn't find him lol. I had to go back to the truck and get his tracker and try to find his dog. Luckily he was on the other end of the leash with a coon in hand, happy as could be goin in the opposite direction of where the truck was. Took me a couple of hours to locate him. Lol

Of all the things I have lost which includes most everything mentioned above,

is a piece of spring steel wire that was shaped into a tail stripper. My old hunting buddy that has been gone many years gave it to me and was painted orange. I suppose I carried that tail stripper for over 20 years and then one night I couldn't find it after shucking out a coon. I was in an open field at my pickup at the time. I marked the place and went back the next day in the day time and still couldn't find it. Every time I would use it, I would say, "Here's one more for Ol' Melvin."

Even if you have a garmin it doesn't help if you forget to mark the truck! OOOPPS!
I also lost a .25 I carried. Being a girl I don't go out by myself without a sidearm. Lost it in a slough walking to the dogs treed.
My confidence, but I found it again.
