I bought a 3 year old dog five days ago from a man. He had already filled the back of the UKC papers to get it in his name. But he never did send the paper work in to get the dog transfered into his name. I am wondering what I can do ????

Can I white it out and put it in my name and send them in ???

Call UKC tomorrow and explain, I would not alter the papers and send them in, that will cause problems for them.

It states on the papers that "Any alterations (whiteout, cross out, erasures) will void this document and require an affidavit form. Call them Monday to see what you need to do. Most likely the person who had the dog will need to register the dog in his name and then transfer ownership to you.
