If my grand kids are being taught religion it will be taught by who my kids and I aprove of. Not some satan worshiping freak at school. Freedom of religion, what ever class they have that hour is the one that is going to be teaching them to pray. NO THANKS.
There are some real dandys teaching these days.
I use to think the same way you do till a preacher pointed it out to me one day. Prayer taught at home or church.
Pledge of alliegence to the flag in school. There is only one of those and if they won't say it kick them out of our school then our country.
Oakie, I sure don't want to argue with you on this point, and I don't want to change the thread from wolves to prayer in school.
I just want to say that I think the issue is much bigger that prayer in school, or seperation of church and state. The real issue is not taking prayer out of school, but taking God out of school.....specifically Jesus. You are right, what some think of as prayer would not be prayer to you and me. I do know the school system was better and safer when we prayed.
As far as the wolves are concerned, I don't want them around here. I would love to hunt them...........somewhere else. I was stalked by a wolf that had been released by the gov. one night, and it was not fun. I don't think it would have taken much to pull his trigger. I went to the tree, and got my dog. At some point he went away. I would hate to deal with that everytime I went hunting. Once was enough.
