UKC Performance Question?

Ok guys here is the deal. I have a pup that is coming up on a yr old. The sire is Performance Sire but the man that raised the litter did not nominate it. I have plans to nominate the litter but what I need to know is there any way I can arrange it to where all the dam earnings go to me since I paid the fees. I can probably get a notarized statment from the man relinquishing all the rewards to me. I dont' know if anyone has ever come across that. I just hate to pay the dam fee and the owner that don't care about it get the money

I'D SAY NO. YOU'L GET 80% OF YOUR DOGS WINNINGS ONLY. IF YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER OF SIRE OR DAM. NOT BEING SMART A$$ BUT YOU ARE THE ONE WHO DICIDED TO BUY A PUP OFF A DOG THAT WAS NOT A PERFORMANCE SIRE & PAY SOMEONE ELSES DOG UP.

The owner of the litter doesn't always have to be the owner of the dam. Look at a litter application.

Casey, I just read the Performance Nomination Rules; you cannot nominate the litter after a year of age, so if your pup is nearly a year old you need to contact UKC and get the ball rolling, NOW. Good Luck. Tom

Well, at the risk of pissing you off, I have to agree with roughcreek. The way I understand the rules, the 10% breeders money is paid to the registrant of the litter so no, you cannot get that 10% unless you are listed as the resgistrant of the litter and the registrant never changes even if the dog is sold.
