A trip to California

A few years back I was asked to bring a couple redbone hounds out to California and help them with the remake movie, "Where the Red Fern Grows." I had sub contracted through Animals International and around several people who make their living training wild animals. One of the guys I met had three bears, an old Griz, this young adult black bear pictured above, and a cub of the year. He wanted to show them off and I went over with him to feed the cub the day we finish with our parts shooting the movie. There are interesting people everywhere, and meeting those people and sharing a few days with them only sweetens the pot..........
