2010 Battle of the Breeds' Highlights
Glad to see so many folks are going to be at the Battle of the Breeds.
Ada, Oklahoma is the place to be on December 10 and 11.
There is an additional $500 in prize money this year thanks to the motels listed in our ad on pages 142 & 143 in the November issue of CB.
The winner of the Billy Starns Award takes home this $500, any breed, see ad for details, must hunt Friday and Saturday nights to be eligible.
Saturday night's high scoring dog of hunt, any breed, will win $500 donated by Purina.
The 'Bus Thompson Award' goes to the high scoring Bluetick cast winner on Friday and Saturday nights.
Saturday night's high scoring Bluetick will win $250. Must be a paid-up member of BBCHA prior to going to the woods to win these awards.
The 'John Wade Award' goes to the high scoring Treeing Walker cast winner on Friday and Saturday nights.
Saturday night's high scoring Treeing Walker will win $250. Must be a paid-up member of SWTWA to win these awards.
Memberships for BBCHA and SWTWA will be sold on Friday and Saturday.
Belt buckles will be awarded to the King and Queen of Hunt and King and Queen of Show.
Deadline for nite hunt is 7 pm Friday and Saturday. Entry fee is $25 both nights. A full set of trophies will be awarded.
Deadline for the show is 3 pm on Friday and 1 pm on Saturday.
