Yep no more sharpening a half a dozen knives for me, I get about 6 or 7 coon out of a blade and throw em away. Sharp as a scalpel.

I like my Schrade 770 Improved Muskrat. I hit it with an Arkansas stone before every 3rd coon, it only takes about 15 seconds to put a razor edge back on it. I like sharpening knives, it's relaxing. The Havelon looks like a pretty cool knife if you're not into sharpening.

Jim,

I don't think i would be comfortable using those. I have tried to use scapels for skinning before and I found they don't hold up and they are too thin. I looked to see if they listed a blade thickness but could not find it. I also noticed that their 100 blade pack was sold out. Then there is the whole disposal issue. I wouldn't feel right just landfilling those in the regular trash.

Best knife....

I'm voting for the Benchmade Mini-Griptillian. They made a McHenry-Williams version that I liked better but I lost it and that one cost $120. The Mini-Griptillian is around $75.

Look for the model 556 Mini-Griptillian with the partially serated edge:

The partially serated edge sure is nice for going through tail bones.
