I killed another camera the other night (the boys left it on the tailgate) while we were getting ready to turn the hounds loose at a gate on my brothers farm they winded a litter of young coon and away we went then when they treed we were gonna take some "award winning photos" and no camera AGAIN so we popped 1 out to the dogs and loaded em up to go on down the lane and cut loose for another drop and as I moved the truck maybe 2 ft we all heard a loud sickening crunching popping sound..

yep, your already ahead of me it was my poor lil innocent never failed me $250 digital camera and the little feller was in a state of no repair what with a full size chevy pickup with the 10 ply mudder tires that us coonhunters has to have just to drive down a perfectly good gravel road so we dont get hung-up!! LOL

so that brings me to the question of what kinda camera do the most of ya use that is the best bang for the buck??

mine was a Kodak Z with a bunch of #s something or another E-Z share that was user friendly..

I know I'm the only one that ever done such a thing thing while out chasing a durned coon

Here is a Review I did of one back in Feb of this year (The price has dropped on them).

I been wanting to upgrade cameras sometime but haven't found one with some of the features you find in the higher dollar camera. My wife has a Rebel but they are not really that portable and compact.

I been doing some research on the Kodak Z915 and just about everywhere I went, the reviews were 4.5 out of 5.0 on this camera.

Well I broke down and went and cashed in the Christmas and B-Day Visa cards and stopped by Best Buy today and bought one. (They are on sale right now for $179)

What kinda pictures does it take at night while hunting? Does that camera have a good bright flash on it?

Thanks Buckshot, that seems like a reasonable price and I'd rather buy from anywhere than Wally World even if it costs a bit more..

my poor lil Kodak is in a far better place but I shore do miss the ole fellar LOL

any more input will help..
