Michigan has talked about it but not sure how they work?? Can anyone help out with how yours works and what the Governer acually does?

This is our first year of doing one throught the
Appalachian Houndsmen Association. We have sponsored one for NC and For SC this year.

We asked clubs to host State Qualifiers through the year at the regular club hunts. The AHA did not take in any of the money from the Qualifiers all the money stayed with the host club.

Cast Winners and Bench Show Class Winners qualified for the finals.

Our Finals are this Saturday in NC and on Dec 18th in SC so we will let you know how the finals turn out.

The NC Govenor or a rep from her office and one of our local US Congressman are scheduled to be at the NC Final on Saturday.

The overall goal when this was started was to get involved with some more of the local clubs in letting them no what the houndsmen assoc is all about and trying to help increase attendance at some of there events.

The political connection is to get our elected officals to have a little better understanding as to what our sport is all about instead of all the negative media attention we get.

Thanks this is what we are trying to do . Tell Goverment what we do and that we are voters to and show them diffrent class's of people we have hunting with hounds.(not low lifes like some think)

Mn has one and and the gov does nothing, I dont think he even has a clue. Its just another hunt.
