im extremely jellos!!!i have been wanting a couple good mules for a long time to hunt off of.. most of the places i hunt there is no way a four wheeler can go and you can go miles between roads. a mule would be great. maybe in the near future if i can find a good calm broke mule.

Sure is alot easier on a man when he gets to ride to most trees. I've done it a few times. Sure wish I had a place to keep a good one.

if we had woods up here that you could ride a horse threw i'd have a mule or horse to hunt off... Next to coonhunting, horseback riding is my next favorite sport

Yeah I would love to ride my horse while hunting. With my Fibromyalgia I sure would last a lot longer. Too bad it's just too thick in S. Wis

Aubrey and I both grew up with horses, so hunting off of the mules just seemed to fit. The terrain is pretty steep and rugged in our part of Wisconsin, so hunting off the mules takes the work out of coonhunting for us. Nothing better than coonhunting off of a good mule. We love it.

Another friend, Terry, and his mule who came over to hunt from Iowa for a few nights

This is how we haul the mules if we are just hunting 1 or 2.

Man I wish my back could take it. That brings back great memories. I had one horse and one mule. The horse would carry anything I put on her. Gator, hog, bear, coon, deer, it didnt matter, dead or alive. We hog hunted mostly and carried the big boars our alive. Down here you just have to be careful not to bog em down. Great pics guys.

marpal - Our mules are 54" and 60" at the withers. Aubrey prefers them at about 54" and no bigger than 60".

Then there is this little project mule for the kids. I don't know if we've ever messured her, but I'd guess she's about 43" at the withers. She's turning into a good little jumper.
