Laser Torch Light vs. East Fork LED light

I cant decide which one to go with, anyone have any opinions about these 2? I like that the East Fork has more settings, and a strobe, but i hate that the burn time is so low..I have only seen one LED cap light in action, and it was the Nocturnal Addict, but i dont want to spend 250 bucks, I have a belt light with an LED head that is almost brand new..But I like the concept of not having a belt on, or being wired up like a time bomb...Anyone been able to compare these 2 lights? I really just want something light and convient for those hot summer hunts.

I got a torch light last week. I have been sick and havnt been off the yard with it. I like it from the little I have used it. It puts a good spot in the tree and has a decent halo for walking. The burn time on the high side is 15hrs and I probably won't use the lowside much lol! I shined trees half a block away and saw everything like the sun was up.

Yes I have seen them both side by side. The east fork is the brighter of the two. That's one reason the burn time is less. The torch light is also a good light and they are both well put together. If you want the brighter one go with the East Fork.

I don't know anything about the torch light, the East Fork is a great light and you will not beat the service.

You can reach me at 409-423-4492 or Bobby at 337-463-9348. Take a look at the new Laser Torch 2. It's brighter and still comes with a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty or 30 days money back.

Thanks for considering us,
David Morgan

What's the price on the laser 2 ? What's the burn time on it? I have the original East Fork and on low it's not bright enough to walk with down in here in South Texas with all these rattlesnakes. My old eyes need a little more light. Thanks.

.

If anyone is looking for a Cap Light and doesn't seriously consider the K-Light G2 Convertable for $250 they are making a mistake.

It is a 21v cap light and as bright as any light being sold to coonhunters today.

on our 3.6v it is 5 on high and 15 low.
6v is 7 high, and 20 low.

they do have 5 settings hi/med/low/strobe/sos
push button switch. for easy operation.

and with the ambient light on this one you can definately see those rattlers.

hey david,

I have a very good feeling that male pup i got off scorn will be seen in the winners circle pretty soon.

independant as all get out. last 6 or 7 times i took him, multiple trees all by him self. no help needed. not bad at all for 11 months.

Allen,

Wayne Ellis' female is the same as your male. Jeremey Boyett has an older litter brother that is that way too with a awsome mouth.

Allen,

I don't know if you know it or not, but that pup has House's Queen over 30 times, Houses Chief over 20 times and Houses Bawlie over 10 times.

I finally got to use the torch light tonight. I have been using a 4D mag for 3 years and this light blows it away!!! For 165$ I am completely happy! The high side worked great for walking and looking in trees. I'm going to try the g2 once the wife isn't prego anymore and let her use the torch light.
