Well after church tonight went hunting with my Pastor Mike Sands. He used to own coon dogs and has hunted quiet a bit. We took Ole Zero & June two of my Ole Walker dogs. We went to one of my favorite spots and turned loose and they went in there about 500 yds or more and got treed and when we got there it was a legitimate Den Tree. Well pulled them off of there and went to another spot and they struck in there about 250yds and come treed just a bit after that. When we got to the tree they had a double in that tree. Knocked one out and left the other. Third drop in which I don't do much during the week but since I am off till Monday I ask the Preacher what he wanted to do. He said well we will do what you want but you could tell in his voice he was wanting to turn them loose again. So we rode around looking for a spot to turn loose. On the third drop we turned loose and they got in there about 365 yds before striking and wouldn't long June was hammer down. I thought Zero was with her but when we stopped and listened I heard him in there deeper. As we were walking into June somebody decided to fire a rifle somewhere near us. I yelled out and never heard it again. I have permisson to be in there and hunt this place all the time so really don't know who it was but will find out in the morning. Got to June's tree and she had a coon. Pulled her off and listen to Zero and he was treed about 200 yds from her. Got in there to him and he was treed on a big Pine tree got to squalling and there set the coon. Decided to call it a night. Really can't complain with tonights hunt. Den tree, Double, and two singles. Hope everybody had a good night as well. Take care and God Bless you All.

Sounds like yall had a heck of a hunt. We sold Mike a pup off of Rosie and Jake when she had her first litter. He is a top notch guy. Tell him I said hello next time you see him.
