Hillbilly Rabbit Hunt

Here is a video clip of a rabbit hunt a couple of buddies and I took this last weekend. We were keeping score with a 12 gauge and a 20 gauge instead of a pencil. I don't think we would have seen a rabbit without the beagles.

I had a young dog that had not been shot over that went back to the truck after the first shot. There are alot of "Field Trial" beagles that have not been shot over, most "competition beaglers" never shoot rabbits. They leave them for the trials. We were hunting in a spot that never gets trialed. These "good old boys" were shooting for their supper.

Look for some "Hillbilly" squirrel hunt and coon hunt videos in the future.

I keep beagles, Mt Curs, and English Coonhounds. I hunt all 3 types of dogs and this time of the year, I hunt twice a day. Once in the morning on squirrel or rabbit, and coon hunt at night.
