We use

both systems I don't hunt in the mountians but we hunt thick swamps in the upper peninsula of michigan. In my opinion its hard to beet the wildlife blue box.

I have used a quicktrack and my hunting partner has the wildlife. I like the wildlife for the hardcase it comes in that seals out the elements. I like the quicktrack for the multiple channels. With a yagi they are about equal. I prefer marshall collars as they have the longest range. We use a rats collar, wildlife collars, marshall collar, and a tracker collar.

i use a tracker box easy to carry great range. tested it againt a quick track that i have that sits in the basement now and also against a blue bos wildlife. the tracker will keep up with both of them. i prefer a marshal collar .
