what to do

madder than heck right now, found out the neighbor, the one that turned his whole back yard into a food plot and has 2 automatic feeders on his whole 10 acres of huntable land, has now sunk screws into MY trees inside the property line by 10-15 feet. nice maples. posted it facing my way. this is also the fellow, that we had allowed to have a LITTLE bit of topsoil that i had saved up for my gardens and took it all this summer, this is also the man that has mowed 20 ft. or more into the property line , thus exposing my home. i liked to live concealed. i have had it. thinkin about a pig sty right up the side of his driveway where he has so kindly mowed for me. this is also the man that has shot more than 7 coon this spring and summer off his feeders as so he has told me. i am gettin mad.

I bought land and built a place a few years ago next to an idiot family like you describe. They ran ATV's across my place after I bought it the same as before I bought it. they put up a tree stand right on the property line and then cut a shooting lane through the oaks across my property so they could shoot deer from the stand on their property across my property. I don't mean they cut off branches, they cut down several young oak trees and then built a ladder up to their tree stand with the cut trees. The only thing that saved them is they listed their property for sale and moved out. Idiots!

Branchville, I had a neighbor just like that once, We call them a**holes around here! But sounds like it is time to fertilize that green area he has been mowing for you next to his house. I did this once in Florida to a guy and every time it rained it smelled gut wrenching awful for about two months. The fertilizer was liquid chicken crap. So if there any chicken farms up your way check into it. And it is really good fertilizer for grass and trees!

if someone asks permission, that has to be respected, but since so many seem entitled to do what they want, that respect is lost. i dont care what you do for a living, when i got my pup, i went to his house with him and introduced him, as he politely peed all over his food plot. what i showed was common courtesy, and a respect not found a whole lot these days. my daddy raised me different, always ask. i apologized that day if my dog were to ever run across his land. he has not ever.

get a 5 gal bucket fill it half full of manure then add water and let it soak up and get really runny your going to have some ammonia going on there.I don't know what the reall mix is other than the chickens part but we spread it in our pine trees every year and they grew fast but every time it rained for two months it smelt like we had just spread it again!!

Been there also. We bought another house a few years ago. We come up and there are survey flags around our property. I could see the 4 wheeler tracks going to their house. So we go and ask them whats up. They decided to survey our land themselves. I asked why I should trust their survey. We walk out to look at where he measured from and says"its with in a foot or two"
Wait. What? A foot or two I say. I took a HUGE step toward his house and said "this looks better to me. LOL They didn't like that. He was also mowing a section of our yard that bordered his. We have squatters' rights here. If he maintained that peice of lawn long enough, he could take us to court and claim it. Asked him several times to stop. He didn't. So I put a few fence posts in and then lined our property line with old stumps, old fence posts laying on the ground.. He don't mow it anymore and I don't mow it. Makes his pristine yard look bad...
We paid to have it surveyed. Guess what? He was off. Way off.
Every state has a law against booby traps. So stay with in the confines of the law. We all know the biggest whack job violaters are the first ones to call the cops on us.
Good luck and be smarter
Scott

Talking to them don't work. They just tell you what you want to hear and go right back to it.
The house next to us I used to think was jinxed. First guy went off the deep end. He started lining the inside of his house with tin foil. He even called the cops and told them my tv antenna made his brakes go out in his truck. Me and the county boys had a great laugh over that one. The next day, he put up 5 tv antenna's and pointed them at our house.
That was just the tip of the ice berg with him. He finally moved. Next one was a full drunk. He was leaving for work one morning, crossed over into our yard and hit our car. He was hammered at 6 am.
The next one offed himself in the basement.
FINALLY have some great neighbors. Their daughter even feeds the dogs when we're gone. It took 19 years, but it paid off.

Patience is a virtue. Who ever came up with that never had whack job neighbors.
Scott
