Which batterys last the longest in the handhelds set mine to locate every 10 seconds but still uses them fairly quick just put some energizer advanced lithium in the other night seem to be lasting a little longer.

Just what you said you bought - energizer advanced lithium. The cheap ones are cheap and you have to remember to recharge the rechargable ones. Lithium battieries will last about a week of hunting every night.

I bought a pack of 100 no names from Lowes for $19.95. I've gone about 15 nights of hunting before having to replace.

Charging batteries all the time is for the birds.

It's no different charging batteries for the Garmin than it is charging the battery on your hunting light.

Thats what I do too...I already have enough things that need constant charging.

I thought I was the only one that would leave the
garmin on all night. Don't feel so bad now.
