Bad Luck For Youth At Nationals
Just wanted to tell everyone about some real bad luck that happened to a neighbor of mine. His name is Issac Chandler, he is 15 years old and just started competition hunting this past year. He got qualified for the youth nationals this year. He was hunting a real nice English female Broken Timber Lucy and won his cast Sat night. I think he finished 18th. Well, I said all of that to tell you the bad luck. When Issac carried his dog for a walk this morning before heading back to Alabama he noticed that she didn't act like she felt good and she had a real loose, dark stool. She also was slobbering some. They loaded up and headed home, thinking that something was wrong, they got in touch with a vet in Kentucky to look at her. When they got to the vet clinic it was to late, the little female was dead in the box. The only thing that they can figure is that she must have got ahold of some posion last night on the cast while they was hunting. I really hope this bad luck don't keep this young man from continuing to coon hunt.
